Box under the bed. I'm in a dorm room, so there isn't much space available besides "under the bed". My comics box is kind of overflowing though, so I have stacks of unboxed sitting around, on my windowsill and on the dresser. I don't want to give in and buy another box because then I'll have to admit that I have a collection of some sort..
My graphic novels go on the bookshelf. I have to admit that I don't take very good care of my comics, since I'm not looking to make money or anything. I'm certainly not planning to sell my SIPs ever. Darth's suggestions sound good if you're a collector.

Just wondered how everyone else stores their copies of SIP. I just bag mine up and stick them in a box. I'd like to store them better than this, any suggestions?

Get some acid free backing boards. This will help keep them from getting bent as well. Change the bags every 5-7 years or use higher quality(more expensive) bags like Mylars.
You could buy slabs(little plastic boxes made to hold 1 comic safe and secure) but they are expensive, and not worth the investment given the market value of most of thebooks(Maybe it would be if you had 1st prints of the 1st series...)
Other than that, just make sure they are snug in the box so they don't flap around.

The comic issues are underneath the thingy I put my stereo on(a little kinda table with wheels. Comics on the lower shelf, stereo on top), next to a pile of Maxx comics(and other Sam Kieth comics), which are, in turn, next to the more recent Cerebus issues.Older issues are in a file box thingy. I have the tpbs in a file cabinet, except some laying around for easy access.

It's not really a matter of being a collector or wanting to sell them later(which, incidentally, I will do, as the hardcovers come out) Really it's just a matter of paying good money for something and not wanting to see it messed up. I take care of my stuff(all of my old G.I.Joe's still have all their guns and stuff too!)
But, yes I am a collector, and as I noted in another similar thread, I like bagging and borading my books, it's just a part of the hobby.
On the other hand, with someone like Karmapolice, when I see a worn issue of something, I know for a fact it was well read and enjoyed, which is really what the whole thing is aboot anyways.
(I don't know what shape your comics are in KP, just sound like some body who isn't big on condition-which is cool; your mileage may vary...)
Hell, if I could aford it, I'd even mylar the crap books I keep in my collection, just so I wouldn't have to bother with them again....

I bag them, that's it.
I don't need more since I have been (and stil am) getting rid of my 'loose' issues and replacing it all and adding to it with trades.
It kinda got frustrating that I wasn't able to fill any holes in my collection (especially since I live in hte Netherlands) and with trades you don't have that problem.
Value ?

I leave them in a pile on a shelf. That pile's getting quite big, though. May have to make it two piles soon. Oh, the trials and tribulations of comic ownership!
